Willows Pre-School - Wimbledon Nursery

A Journey of Excellence in Early Years Education

Wimbledon Nursery and Pre-School, established in 2009 by Kevin and Galyna, was born from a desire for more than just childcare. Dissatisfied with the limited options available, they envisioned a nurturing and stimulating environment where children could learn, grow, and thrive. This passion has driven Wimbledon to become a leading provider of early years education, helping countless children get the best start in life.

The WillowsWay® Difference

Our unique approach, the WillowsWay®, embraces a love for early childhood education and the latest advancements in the field. It fosters an environment where children flourish, nurtured by our highly qualified staff who provide individualized attention and care. We believe every child is special and deserves respect as an individual.

A Legacy of Success

Wimbledon Nursery and Pre-School has earned a reputation for excellence, evident in our children’s success in entrance exams for prestigious local schools. This achievement reflects our commitment to supporting each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Award-Winning Excellence

2022 marked a double celebration. Not only did our children achieve outstanding results in school placements, but our Head Chef Beverley led Willows to become the first nursery nationwide to achieve the Early Years Nutrition Partnership ADVANCED Certification. We remain one of just two settings in London honoured with the SPECIALIST Certification for exceptional meals.

Post Graduate Cert in Education (PGCE), & BA Hons in Animation

A former primary school teacher and graphic designer.

Supported, by my gang of phonics puppets, to cement their early understanding of the Department for Education’s, “Letters and sounds scheme”, I persist in giving your child the support they need for this special transition.
Introducing a detailed expansion of the ”Understanding of the world” area, and implementing Science experiments galore, I strive to both fascinate and enrich my student’s minds, playing on their natural curiosity!

Be warned… I really get into character, through all areas and have a dressing-up bag, full of character costumes to address all topics!

Best book read: George’s Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl
