Welcome to Willows Pre-School Colliers Wood nursery
For children aged 1-5
Colliers Wood Nursery was the second Willows setting to be created, following on from all that was good in Wimbledon Nursery. We remain a family-run business and our aim is to provide a caring, happy and stimulating environment in which your child can thrive. Our Colliers Wood Nursery is in the beautiful grounds of Colliers Wood recreation ground – an oasis of calm just a stone’s throw from the tube station.
We are proud to be able to offer the same high standards of care and education in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our nursery is situated in a purpose-built building, which has been designed specifically for early years provision. We have a large outdoor play area, which is stimulating and safe for our children to explore.
At Willows, we understand that parents entrust us with their most precious possessions-their children. We take this responsibility very seriously, and we are continually striving to provide the best possible care for our young charges. Parents tell us that they value our minibus trips to places such as science museums, farms and parks, as these outings provide a valuable opportunity for learning and discovery. They also appreciate the high level of qualifications held by our staff, as this ensures that their children are receiving the best possible care and instruction. Finally, parents value our recognised commitment to early years nutrition, as this helps to ensure that their children are getting the healthy start they need to thrive. We are proud to be able to offer all of these things to the families in our care, and we will continue to work hard to meet and exceed their expectations.
We would love to welcome you to our nursery, so please do get in touch to arrange a visit.
STAYING CONNECTED
Willows uses the FAMLY App that is designed to involve parents in their child’s learning journey. The App provides parents with updates on their child’s progress, photos and videos of their achievements, and daily reports. FAMLY also offers a range of educational activities, games and resources that parents can use to support their child’s learning. In addition, the App offers a safe and secure messaging service, so that parents can communicate with their child’s teacher directly. We believe it is an essential tool for parents to be fully involved in their child’s education.

Through the spectrum (Raising awareness of Autism)
Autism is a neurological condition that affects an individual’s communication, social interaction, and behavior. It is a lifelong condition that typically manifests in early childhood, and while there is no cure, early intervention, and support can help individuals with autism live fulfilling lives.
The Importance of Celebrating Woman’s Day and Teaching Equality in Early Years
If we truly want to achieve equality and harmony among human beings, we must not neglect the time of life when the social, idealistic, and linguistic differences which separate human groups do not yet exist.
The Bilingual Child & Language
