Christmas Dinner 2022 at Wimbledon Nursery

This week Beverley excelled herself, creating a delicious traditional Christmas dinner for all of the children at both our Wimbledon and Colliers wood Willows settings.

Beverley and our new assistant chef Aldrin, worked tirelessly on both Wednesday and Thursday to create a lavish meal for all children and staff- it definitely went down well!

The children were served the majority of their meal as there were too many components for them to self-serve it all, however, they did have access to more roast potatoes, carrots, and green beans in serving trays in front of them which they kept returning to, using their veg and potatoes to mop up yummy gravy and turkey. The children enjoyed turkey (or a Quorn alternative), roast potatoes, swede, carrots, green beans, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, red cabbage, and Yorkshire puddings all coated in a delicious gravy. This was followed by Beverley’s famous carrot cake which was well received by children and staff alike.

A big thank you to Beverley and Aldrin for all of their hard work cooking our festive feast.

Merry Christmas everyone from Willows Pre-school Wimbledon
