Big Red Bus Trip
The topic of this week is “transports” and at Willows Preschool every trip we plan for our children takes into consideration our topics. With Ted, our minibus driver, we reached Battersea Power Station. There the children had some snacks and had the chance to see the Uber Boat boarding passengers and leave the dock.
Road Saftey at Wimbledon
This week at Willows Pre-school Wimbledon we’ve been learning all about Road Safety. The children engaged in a large role play in the garden where they practiced crossing over a zebra crossing, looking left and right, and walking not running.
Fun in the Sun at Brighton Beach
The children of Willows Preschool Wimbledon went to Brighton and had an amazing experience, in fact when they came back to the nursery, they could not stop talking about what
they did at the beach, how wet they get while playing in the water playground, how little the stones of the beach were, and how bride and blue was the sea.
Willows Met with the Community Support Officer Simon
Following our monthly topic “People who help us” Willows Wimbledon Preschool invited Simon, A Community Support Office, who talked about the role of being a Police Officer in society and what is the benefit for the community to our children.
Musical Instruments at Wimbledon Nursery
This week at Willows Pre-school Wimbledon we’ve been learning about musical instruments. The older children have began categorising instruments into wood, wind or brass and have been able to identify a wide range of instruments- we were very impressed!

Snow Fun Day at Wimbledon Nursery

Willows Wimbledon Nativity Performance 2022
It’s that time of year again, time for the Willows Wimbledon Nativity!
The children began learning the 8 songs for the show in October during their weekly music lessons with Aliona and we gradually introduced the lines to the children before sending them home for the children to practice with their parents too.
Remembrance Day at Willows Preschool Wimbledon
At Willows Pre-School Wimbledon our children have done some amazing activities related to Remembrance Day, the children were engaged in decorating the Nursery with poppies, making a big card for the pensioners, and showing care about making their own poppies.

Last Friday we had a wonderful celebration at Willows Pre-school Wimbledon harvest festival. The children have been busy all week preparing decorations for our nursery.
