Remembrance Day
11 November
The older children learn the very basics of this day. They learn about the people who helped to keep our country safe and that the day is to celebrate their help. The children make poppies and, if we are lucky, we have a visit from The Chelsea Pensioners. The oldest children in the school also participate in a 1-minute silence at 11 am.
