Assistant Chef for Wimbledon Nursery
We are in need of an enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our team at Willows Pre-School.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE:
To provide a safe, high-quality kitchen area and care for the children, ensuring that the children are introduced to a healthy and nutritious meal/diet. To fulfill the legal and statutory requirements, to contribute to and to implement pre-school policies.
Follow all instructions made by the chef and other members of the leadership team.
To support the chef in ensuring that the kitchen is ready for opening and a safe environment to work in and that the equipment is checked and working accordingly.
To support the chef in cooking and providing the children with a healthy meal on a daily basis, including providing a meal for the children with special dietary requirements.
To ensure records are appropriately maintained, e.g. ensuring to update and complete the safer food better business folder ensuring that all the relevant information is completed.
To occasionally cover and lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent.
